WHO & WHY
Chef Ben Grossmann has been working in the restaurant industry for over 20 years, serving dishes that range from french fries to foie gras. His love for and knowledge of Italian cuisine has only grown over his time in the industry, most notably at James Beard-nominated Nostrana in Portland, OR. After falling for an Okie-born restaurant manager, Ben relocated to OKC, where for the past several years he has headed the culinary programs at Ludivine and R&J Lounge and Supper Club.
Farfalle & Focaccia was inspired by the casual sidewalk cafes that Ben and his partner fell in love with while on a recent trip to Florence and Milan. Our goal is to serve authentic yet approachable Italian food for every Oklahoman in a playful, welcoming environment.
